The Goldfish's Magic Phone

Lily loved spending summer days by the pond, watching the orange sunsets paint the sky. One evening, she spotted something shimmering beneath the water's surface.

To her surprise, a tiny goldfish popped its head up and spoke! "Hello, Lily! I've been waiting for you."

Lily rubbed her eyes. "Goldfish don't talk!"

" magical ones do," the fish said with a grin. "My name is Finn. I need your help. Someone dropped their iPhone in our pond, and its glowing screen is keeping all the fish awake."

Lily giggled at the thought of fish needing sleep. "I can help! But I'm not sure if I can swim deep enough."

"Just touch the water with this magical papaya leaf," Finn said, producing a shiny green leaf from behind a rock. "It will let you breathe underwater."

Lily held the leaf, dipped her toes into the cool pond, and suddenly she was swimming - not just in water, but through it like a mermaid! Below her, dozens of fish were gathered around a glowing rectangle.

The goldfish guided her down. "See? The light is too bright. We need to turn it off."

Lily reached for the iPhone and pressed the side button. The screen went dark, and all the fish cheered with bubbles.

"Thank you!" Finn said. "As a reward, would you like to see our secret garden?"

He led her through hidden underwater caves until they reached an air pocket. Inside grew the most beautiful papaya tree Lily had ever seen, its fruits glowing with soft orange light like tiny moons.

"Every summer solstice, these papayas grant one wish," Finn explained. "What would you wish for?"

Lily thought carefully. She could wish for anything - toys, adventures, even more wishes. But she looked at Finn and his friends, all looking at her with hopeful eyes.

"I wish that every time someone drops a phone in water, it floats instead of sinks," Lily said. "That way, no fish will be bothered by bright lights again."

The papaya tree shimmered, and Lily knew her wish had come true.

Finn hugged her fin. "That's the kindest wish anyone has ever made. Come back anytime!"

That night, Lily fell asleep dreaming of orange papaya moons and a goldfish who taught her that the best wishes are the ones that help others.
