The Goldfish's Magic Garden
Leo sat by his fishbowl, watching Bubbles swim in lazy circles. The goldfish had been his birthday present last month, and already Leo loved him like a best friend.
"You look lonely, Bubbles," Leo whispered.
Bubbles blew a single bubble that floated to the surface and popped.
That afternoon, Leo's grandmother was making dinner. "Leo, would you like some spinach?" she called.
Leo wrinkled his nose. "No thanks!"
"Did you know goldfish love spinach?" his grandmother said. "It's full of magic green energy."
Leo's eyes widened. He took a small leaf of spinach and dropped it into Bubbles' bowl.
Bubbles swam to the leaf and took a tiny nibble. Then something magical happened. The fishbowl began to glow with soft green light. Bubbles grew bigger and bigger until he floated right out of the bowl!
"Come with me, Leo!" Bubbles said in a bubbly voice. "I want to show you something wonderful!"
Bubbles carried Leo on his back out the window and into the garden. They landed in a patch of spinach plants, but these weren't ordinary vegetables. Each spinach leaf was a door to a different magical world!
"Which one should we try first?" Leo asked his new friend.
They jumped through a sparkling leaf and found themselves in a world made entirely of emerald crystals. Then they visited a kingdom where everything floated like bubbles. Finally, they discovered a garden where flowers sang lullabies.
"Thank you for the spinach, Leo," Bubbles said. "Without it, I never could have shared these worlds with you."
Leo hugged his goldfish friend. "I'm glad we're friends, Bubbles. Sometimes the best discoveries come from trying something new."
They flew back to Leo's room just as his grandmother called them for dinner. That night, Leo dreamed of spinach leaves and golden bubbles, knowing that magic could be found in the most unexpected places—especially with a friend by your side.
