The Goldfish's Magic Call

Lily discovered something shiny in her grandmother's attic—an old iPhone with a cracked screen. "This won't work," she thought, but when she pressed the home button, it glowed with rainbow light.

Suddenly, a tiny voice came through the speaker. "Hello? Can anyone hear me?"

Lily gasped. "Who's there?"

"I'm Finnegan! I'm a goldfish, and I'm stuck in a jar! Please help!"

Lily peeked through the iPhone's camera and saw the most beautiful orange fish she'd ever seen. His scales sparkled like tiny stars, and he wore what looked like a little blue vest made of seaweed.

"Where are you?" Lily asked.

"In the old garden behind your house! The storm washed me into a jar, and I can't get back to my pond!"

Lily grabbed her raincoat and rushed outside. Following Finnegan's directions through the magical iPhone, she found a glass jar hidden under some bushes. Inside, Finnegan swam in circles, looking worried.

"I'm here!" Lily cried. She carefully lifted the jar and carried it to the nearby pond. "Ready to go home?"

"Yes! Thank you!" Finnegan bubbled.

As she poured him back into the water, something magical happened. The pond began to glow, and hundreds of lights appeared—fireflies! They danced around Lily, creating a sparkling pathway.

"We wanted to thank you too," a soft voice said. Lily looked down to see a talking frog wearing a tiny crown. "I'm Prince Ribbit. Finnegan is our friend, and you saved him."

"But... how did the iPhone work?" Lily asked.

Prince Ribbit smiled. "That's no ordinary phone. It's a Friendship Device! It only works for kind hearts who truly want to help others. Now it's yours to keep."

Lily realized something wonderful: sometimes the best friends come in the most unexpected ways—even through an old iPhone and a goldfish who needed help.
