The Goldfish's Flying Pyramid
Lily was a lonely girl who spent her summer swimming in circles at the community pool. She wished for a friend who understood her.
One day, her grandmother gave her a strange bottle. "These are special vitamins," Grandma said with a wink. "They'll help you see the magic in the world."
That night, Lily took one vitamin and dreamed of swimming through the air, weightless and free. When she woke, something extraordinary happened—her pet goldfish, Bubbles, floated out of his bowl in a glowing bubble!
"Lily!" Bubbles said, his voice like tiny bells. "The magic vitamins worked! Now you can see me as I really am—a guide to the Pyramid of Dreams!"
"Pyramid?" Lily gasped.
Bubbles swam through the air, and to Lily's surprise, she could swim too! Together they flew out her window, soaring through the moonlight. Below them, a magnificent golden pyramid appeared in the middle of the park.
Inside the pyramid were rooms filled with laughing children. "This is where dreams come true," Bubbles explained. "But someone has stolen the Friendship Gem! Without it, no new dreams can be created."
Lily's heart pounded. "How can we find it?"
"By swimming through the River of Memories," Bubbles said bravely. "Will you come with me?"
Lily thought of all the lonely days at the pool. Then she nodded. Together, they dove into a swirling stream of shimmering light. They swam past forgotten birthday wishes, lost teddy bears, and giggles that had faded away.
Finally, in a dark corner, they found a tiny figure—a lonely shadow—hugging the gem.
"Please," Lily said softly. "That gem belongs to everyone. Being alone is hard, isn't it?"
The shadow trembled. "I just wanted someone to notice me."
"I notice you," Lily said. "Will you be my friend?"
The shadow released the gem and transformed into a girl named Maya. The gem sparkled, and the pyramid lit up with joy.
When Lily woke up, she was back in bed. But at school that day, a new girl sat beside her—the real Maya. And from that day on, Lily never swam alone again.
