The Goldfish's Digital Wish
Maya was running through the park when something shiny caught her eye. There, beside a big orange tree, sat a tiny goldfish in a plastic bowl, all alone.
"Hello, little friend," Maya whispered, kneeling beside the bowl. The goldfish swam closer to the glass, its scales shimmering like tiny stars in the sunlight.
To Maya's surprise, the goldfish spoke! "Please help me! I was a birthday gift, but my family moved away and left me behind. I have one wish before I forget what it feels like to be loved."
Maya's eyes widened. "What's your wish?"
"I want to see the ocean," the goldfish said dreamily. "But I'm too small to get there."
Maya thought hard. Then she remembered her mom's iPhone in her pocket. "I can show you the ocean!" She pulled out the phone and searched for videos of underwater worlds.
The goldfish pressed against the glass, mesmerized. Bright coral reefs, dancing seaweed, and colorful fish filled the screen. "It's even more beautiful than I imagined," the goldfish said, tears mixing with the water.
Suddenly, the phone slipped from Maya's hands and fell toward the bowl. *Splash!*
"Oh no!" Maya cried. But something magical happened. The goldfish glowed with a warm orange light, growing bigger and bigger until the bowl couldn't contain it anymore.
The goldfish had become a magnificent sea creature, floating in the air above the park.
"Thank you, Maya," the magical fish said. "Your kindness broke the spell. I was once a sea spirit who was trapped by a lonely wizard. Only someone with a truly caring heart could free me."
The fish sprinkled sparkling dust over Maya. "This is my gift to you. Whenever you need a friend, just look at any orange tree, and I'll be there."
With a splash of rainbow colors, the fish disappeared into the sky, leaving behind a single orange fish scale that shimmered like a tiny star.
Maya picked it up, knowing she had made a friend she would never forget.
