The Goldfish and the Star Bull

Lily loved her little goldfish, Goldie, who swam in circles in his glass bowl on her nightstand. Every night before bed, she would tap on the glass and whisper, "Goodnight, friend." Goldie would blow bubbles and wiggle his orange tail.

One rainy afternoon, Lily found something strange—a shimmering cable behind her bed. It glowed with soft blue light, like fireflies trapped inside a rope. When she touched it, the cable hummed with a warm, tingling feeling. Curious, she followed the glowing line as it snuck under her window and stretched up toward the sky!

Her iPhone suddenly lit up by itself. Words appeared on the screen: "Welcome to the Star Path." Then a tiny door opened in the glass, and Goldie swam right out of his bowl—but he wasn't wet! He was glowing like a tiny orange star.

"Come with me!" Goldie said in a bubbly voice. Lily stepped through the iPhone screen, and WHOOSH! She was sliding up the glowing cable like it was a magical slide.

They landed on a fluffy cloud where a great bull stood grazing on stars instead of grass. His fur was silver as moonlight, and his horns were made of golden light.

"I am Taurus," the bull said gently. "Guardian of lost friends."

Lily's heart fluttered. She had moved to a new town and missed her old friends terribly. "I don't have any friends here."

The bull lowered his magnificent head. "True friendship isn't about being near," he rumbled kindly. "It lives in here." He nudged her chest with his soft nose. "And sometimes, the best friends are the ones you least expect."

Goldie swam around them, leaving trails of sparkles. "Like us!" bubbled the goldfish.

Lily smiled, feeling warm inside. The bull let her feed him handfuls of sparkling stars, which tasted like cotton candy dreams.

When it was time to leave, Taurus gave her a golden star. "Keep this safe. When you feel lonely, hold it tight and remember—you're never truly alone."

Lily slid back down the glowing cable, through her iPhone, and into her room. Goldie was back in his bowl, blowing happy bubbles. Lily tucked the golden star under her pillow, knowing she had found two magical friends in the most unexpected places.

From then on, she greeted everyone she met with a smile—even the grumpy neighbor next door. And you know what? She made new friends every day. Because she had learned what the star bull taught her that magical night: friendship blooms wherever you plant kindness.
