The Goldfish and the Pyramid of Stars
Lily loved her pet goldfish, Galaxy. He wasn't an ordinary fish—he had shimmering scales that changed colors like a sunset. Every night before bed, Lily would tap gently on his bowl.
"Goodnight, Galaxy," she whispered.
One magical evening, Galaxy did something extraordinary. He swam to the surface and blew a bubble that didn't pop. Instead, it grew bigger and bigger until it floated right out of his bowl!
Inside the bubble was a tiny golden staircase. Galaxy swam up the stairs, and to Lily's amazement, he stepped out of the bubble as a boy with sparkly orange hair.
"Lily!" Galaxy said. "Come with me. The Great Pyramid of Dreams needs our help!"
Galaxy pulled a glowing cable from his pocket. One end was attached to his belt, and he handed the other end to Lily.
"Hold tight! This star-cable will take us anywhere we imagine."
WHOOSH! They flew through her bedroom window, soaring past the moon. The cable stretched like golden taffy as they traveled to a magical land where pyramids floated among the clouds.
At the top of the largest pyramid sat a magnificent creature—a giant white bull made of stardust. His eyes were sad.
"What's wrong?" Lily asked.
"I'm the Bull of Dreams," the creature rumbled gently. "Children have stopped believing in magic dreams. Without their imagination, I'm fading away. Soon, I'll disappear completely."
Lily's heart swelled with compassion. She knew exactly what to do.
"Galaxy, let's show children that magic is real!"
Galaxy nodded. His orange hair glowed brighter as he summoned dreams of flying whales, candy forests, and talking animals. The star-cable pulsed with light, carrying these wonderful images to children all over the world.
That night, children everywhere had the most magical dreams. When they woke up, they couldn't stop talking about their adventures.
The Bull of Dreams shone brighter than ever. "Thank you," he said. "You've reminded the world that imagination is the most powerful magic of all."
As Lily and Galaxy flew back home, she realized something important: magic isn't just about wizards and spells. Magic lives inside everyone who dares to dream.
From that night on, whenever Lily saw an orange sunset or looked at the stars, she remembered her adventure. And Galaxy? He became her best friend, reminding her every day that the greatest adventures begin with a single wish.
