The Goldfish and the Magic Pyramid

Mia's pet goldfish Fin was not an ordinary fish. When the moon rose high and stars twinkled like tiny lanterns, Fin would swim to the top of his bowl and whisper secrets that only Mia could hear.

"Tonight's the night," Fin bubbled, his orange scales shimmering like sunset clouds. "The magic pyramid appears!"

Mia's heart fluttered like butterfly wings. She tiptoed to the garden, where a glowing pyramid spun slowly among the flowers. It was no bigger than a shoebox, but it pulsed with golden light.

Suddenly, a bear emerged from behind the oak tree. But this wasn't a scary bear—his fur was as soft as dandelion fluff, and his eyes sparkled with ancient wisdom.

"You've found the Pyramid of Wishes," the bear rumbled gently. "I am its guardian. What do you seek?"

Mia thought hard. She could wish for toys, or candy, or trips to faraway places. But then she looked at Fin, swimming happily in his bowl she'd brought along.

"I wish..." Mia said, "that everyone could see the magic that's already around them. Not just in special places, but everywhere."

The bear smiled and reached into his fur. He pulled out a perfect orange, glowing with inner light. "A wise wish," he said. "But first, you must share."

Mia peeled the orange. Its scent filled the air—like sunshine and dreams. She gave the first segment to the bear, the second to Fin (who somehow floated in the air just long enough to eat it), and ate the third herself.

Suddenly, everything changed. The garden flowers sang soft melodies. Fireflies danced in patterns that told stories. Even Fin's bowl began to shimmer with rainbow colors.

"The magic was always here," the bear whispered, fading into moonlight. "You just needed to believe."

From that night on, Mia and Fin saw wonder everywhere—in raindrop races on windowpanes, in the stories clouds told, in the friendship they shared.

And sometimes, when the moon was just right, they'd see that tiny pyramid glowing in the garden, reminding them: magic isn't found. Magic is believed.
