The Golden Pyramid Secret
Seven-year-old Max discovered something magical in his grandmother's attic—a tiny pyramid made of sparkling golden glass, no bigger than his fist. When he held it up to the sunlight, he saw something swimming inside.
"Hello?" Max whispered.
To his delight, a tiny goldfish with shimmering orange scales appeared at the pyramid's glass wall. She pressed her nose against it as if trying to speak.
"I'm Cleo," a tiny voice chimed in Max's mind. "I've been waiting for someone brave enough to find me."
Max gasped. "You can talk?"
"Only to those with kind hearts," Cleo explained. "Max, I need your help. Every night, I must run through the Secret Door to the Dream Pyramid and collect magical star-dust—the most powerful vitamin in the universe! It gives children beautiful dreams while they sleep. But tonight, the shadows are scary, and I'm too afraid to go alone."
"I'll go with you!" Max promised without hesitation.
As the moon rose, the tiny pyramid glowed. Cleo swam out, and to Max's amazement, grew two tiny sparkling legs! She began running across the floor—running like a real friend!
"Come quickly!" Cleo called.
Max followed Cleo through a shimmering portal that appeared in his bedroom wall. They arrived at a magnificent golden pyramid towering beneath starlit skies. Inside, Cleo gathered glowing star-dust that sparkled like captured wishes.
"This is the dream vitamin," Cleo said solemnly. "It gives children courage, kindness, and hope every night."
As they returned home, Max realized something wonderful—the real magic hadn't been the pyramid or the star-dust. The real magic was friendship, the courage to help others, and the joy of sharing adventures with someone who needs you.
"Thank you, Max," Cleo said, settling back into her golden pyramid home. "You're my best friend."
Max placed the pyramid on his nightstand. "And you're mine, Cleo."
That night, Max fell asleep with a smile, knowing somewhere in the world, children were having beautiful dreams—all because a brave boy and a running goldfish had discovered that the greatest vitamin of all is simply being a good friend.
