The Golden Pyramid's Secret

Lily pressed her palm against the rough bark of the old oak tree, just like Grandma had shown her. "Close your eyes and believe," Grandma's voice echoed in her memory.

Suddenly, the ground began to glow. Barnaby, her spotted dog, whimpered and hid behind Lily's legs. A shimmering golden pyramid rose from the earth, spinning slowly as tiny stars danced around it.

"Wow," Lily whispered, reaching out.

The pyramid's top clicked open, revealing a small pool inside. But not just any pool — a tiny goldfish swam there, shining brighter than the sun. The fish spoke in a voice like tinkling bells.

"Young keeper, you have found the Temple of Dreams. The Great Bull who guards this place has slept for a thousand years."

Lily's eyes widened. A massive figure materialized — a bull made entirely of silver moonlight, its horns curved like crescent moons. But it looked sad.

"I am so lonely," the Moon Bull said softly. "No one has visited in centuries. Children stopped believing in magic."

Barnaby tentatively approached and gave the bull's leg a friendly lick. The bull's silver eyes brightened.

Lily had an idea. "Every day after school, I'll come visit. I'll bring my friends too! We'll play games, and Barnaby can chase your moonbeams."

The Moon Bull's form shone even brighter. "You would do that?"

"Of course!" Lily said. "That's what friends do."

The goldfish swam excitedly. "Kindness is the greatest magic of all!"

From that day on, Lily and her friends visited the magical pyramid every afternoon. They discovered that the Moon Bull could make beautiful flowers bloom with a single thought, and the goldfish could show them pictures of faraway places in its pool.

Lily learned that the best adventures aren't the ones you find alone — they're the ones you share with friends, both old and new. And sometimes, the most magical things are hiding right in your own backyard, waiting for someone to believe.

Now when Lily pressed her palm against the oak tree, she knew exactly what would appear. Magic, friendship, and the silver Moon Bull waiting to play.
