The Golden Pyramid's Secret
Emma was brushing her hair before bed when something sparkled in the corner of her room. A tiny golden pyramid, no bigger than her thumb, glowed softly on her nightstand.
"What are you?" she whispered, reaching for it.
The pyramid floated into the air and grew! In seconds, it was big enough to walk inside. Emma stepped through its golden entrance and gasped.
She was in a magical room filled with swimming goldfish that flew through the air like birds. Their scales shimmered in every color of the rainbow.
"Welcome!" said a voice. An old wizard with a long white beard smiled at her. "I've been waiting for someone pure of heart."
"My name is Emma," she said bravely.
"I am Guardian of the Magic Vitamin," he explained. "It gives joy and wonder to all children. But something is wrong — the vitamin has lost its sparkle."
Emma's eyes widened. "Can I help?"
The wizard nodded. "Only someone kind and brave can restore it. You must share your happiness with it."
Emma thought of her friends, her family, and all the things that made her smile. She remembered eating orange slices with her grandma on sunny afternoons. She remembered playing tag with her best friend Maya. She remembered the warmth of her mother's hugs.
"I have so much happiness," Emma said, placing her hands on the dull gray vitamin.
Suddenly, the vitamin began to glow! It turned bright orange and filled the room with golden light. The flying goldfish swam in joyous circles around them.
"You did it!" the wizard cheered. "Because you shared your happiness, magic will return to children everywhere."
Emma hugged the wizard goodbye. When she stepped back into her room, the tiny pyramid was on her nightstand again, glowing faintly.
From that day on, Emma noticed something magical. Whenever she felt happy, her hair would sparkle with tiny golden lights, reminding her that sharing joy makes the world more wonderful for everyone.
And sometimes, if she looked very closely, she could still see a tiny flying goldfish swimming through the air, winking at her with gratitude.
