The Golden Pyramid Friend

Lily lived in a tiny house at the edge of the Whispering Desert. Every night, she watched the stars twinkle above the distant golden pyramid that shimmered like magic in the moonlight. The old stories said that pyramid held the greatest treasure in the world, but no one had ever reached it.

One morning, Lily decided she would be the first. She packed her bag with water, bread, and her lucky compass. But as she stepped outside, a massive creature blocked her path—a beautiful white bull with enormous curved horns and gentle brown eyes.

"Please don't hurt me," Lily whispered, trembling.

The bull lowered its head and nudged her hand softly with its wet nose. It seemed to smile at her.

"Are you... friendly?" Lily asked, amazed.

The bull nodded! It knelt down, offering its back.

Lily climbed onto the bull's strong back, and together they raced across the desert. The wind sang through her hair, and the golden pyramid grew larger and larger.

When they arrived at last, Lily slid down and approached the ancient stones. But there was no door, only strange symbols glowing softly. She touched one, and suddenly the pyramid spoke in a voice like old music:

"Only those who come with a true friend may enter."

Lily looked at the white bull, who had waited patiently beside her. "Is he my friend?" she asked.

"A friend travels with you through sun and sand, stays by your side when you're scared, and asks for nothing in return," the pyramid replied. "You have found such a friend."

The stones glowed brighter, and the pyramid revealed its treasure—not gold or jewels, but a beautiful garden with flowers of every color, a crystal fountain, and trees bearing magical fruit that could grant wishes.

Lily wished for her bull friend to always have plenty of sweet grass and water. The pyramid granted her wish immediately.

"Now you must share this gift with others," the pyramid whispered. "True friendship multiplies when shared."

And so Lily and her bull friend returned to their village, where they told everyone about the magical pyramid and showed them the path. Soon, all the children made the journey with their animal friends, and the desert bloomed with gardens of wishes and friendship.

Lily learned that day that the greatest treasure wasn't what she found inside the pyramid, but the friend she made along the way.
