The Golden Garden's Game

Lily discovered the hidden gate behind her grandmother's oak tree on a Tuesday afternoon. The gate sparkled with morning dew, even though it was almost sunset. Curious, she pushed it open.

Inside, she met the most unexpected sight—a magnificent **bull** with fur like chocolate and eyes like warm honey. He didn't scare her. Instead, he bowed his head gently and nudged her hand with his velvet nose.

"Welcome, young friend," a deep voice rumbled. Lily looked up to see a golden **sphinx** perched on a marble pedestal. Unlike the scary ones in books, this sphinx had kind eyes and feathers like sunset clouds.

"I've been waiting for someone to play **padel** with me," the sphinx said, spreading her wings to reveal a magical court with walls that shimmered like stars. "The bull is my best teammate, but we need one more player."

The bull mooed happily and trotted to his position.

"But I've never played!" Lily said.

"In this garden, the game is about joy, not winning," the sphinx explained. A tiny **goldfish** in a nearby pond leaped from the water, transforming into a magical ball that glowed with every bounce.

They played until the moon rose—Lily, the sphinx, and the gentle bull. The goldfish-ball zipped and zoomed, leaving trails of rainbow light. Lily laughed so much her sides hurt.

When her grandmother called her for dinner, the sphinx pressed a golden feather into Lily's palm. "Come back anytime. The magic garden loves joyful hearts."

That night, Lily dreamed of starlit padel games and knew some secrets are meant to be shared between friends who understand that the best games are the ones played with kindness.
