The Golden Bull's Secret
Leo knelt beside the old swimming pool in his grandma's backyard. The water shimmered like liquid diamonds in the afternoon sun. Grandma said it was magic, but Leo didn't believe her until the day he saw something extraordinary.
When Leo pressed his palm against the warm pool tiles, the water began to glow. Not just a sparkle, but a soft golden light that pulsed like a heartbeat. He leaned closer, and suddenly the reflection wasn't his face anymore.
Instead, he saw a magnificent golden bull standing in a desert. The bull had kind eyes and horns that curved like crescent moons. It lowered its head and looked right at Leo, as if it could see through the water.
"Come," Leo imagined the bull saying.
Without thinking, he reached his hand into the glowing water. His palm tingled, and suddenly he wasn't in Grandma's backyard anymore. He stood on warm sand beneath a brilliant blue sky. Before him rose a golden pyramid that sparkled like captured sunlight.
The golden bull waited beside it, its fur gleaming even brighter than the pyramid.
"Welcome, young friend," the bull spoke in a voice like distant thunder, gentle and warm. "I've been waiting for someone with a brave heart."
Leo's eyes widened. "You can talk?"
The bull nodded. "I guard this pyramid of lost dreams. Many children forget their dreams when they grow up. But you still remember."
The pyramid's stone door slowly opened. Inside, Leo saw swirling colors — pink for wishes, blue for hopes, green for adventures.
"Touch your palm to the center," the bull guided him. "Make a wish for something brave."
Leo pressed his palm to a glowing crystal. He didn't wish for toys or candy. He wished to help others be brave too.
The pyramid hummed with joy. Tiny lights swirled around Leo and the bull.
"A noble wish," the bull said proudly. "True magic isn't about power. It's about courage to help others."
When Leo opened his eyes, he was back beside Grandma's pool, his hand still wet. But something was different — a small golden mark now glowed on his palm, shaped like a tiny pyramid.
From that day on, whenever Leo felt scared, he'd touch his palm and remember the golden bull's lesson. And sometimes, when the sunlight hit the pool just right, he could still see that magical desert world shimmering beneath the water.
