The Girl With Sparkling Hair

Lily was a curious girl with wild curly hair that bounced when she walked. Every morning, she took her vitamin from the special jar her grandmother gave her. "These aren't ordinary vitamins," Grandma said. "They make your imagination sparkle."

One Tuesday, something magical happened. Lily's pet goldfish Finnegan swam to the top of his bowl and spoke! "Lily! I've been waiting for you to take enough vitamins to hear me. I'm actually a magical fish!"

Lily's eyes widened. "You can talk?"

Finnegan did a happy flip. "Only to children with big imaginations! And today, we have an adventure! Follow the golden shimmer!"

A tiny glow spiraled from the fishbowl, out the window, and into Lily's backyard. There, floating just above the grass, was a miniature pyramid no bigger than a lunchbox. It shimmered with golden light.

"The Pyramid of Forgotten Wishes," Finnegan explained from his portable water bowl Lily had brought along. "Inside lives a lonely bull who needs a friend."

Lily knelt and peeked through the tiny pyramid door. Inside sat a miniature bull with the kindest brown eyes she'd ever seen. He looked so sad.

"Nobody ever visits," the bull whispered. "They think bulls are scary. But I just want someone to talk to."

Lily's heart melted. "I'll be your friend!" She reached inside, and her hand began to glow. The vitamins Grandma had given her were making her brimming with kindness and courage.

The bull's eyes lit up. "You're the first person who wasn't afraid!"

From that day on, Lily visited her bull friend every afternoon. Her hair began to sparkle with tiny golden lights whenever she was kind or brave. Grandma noticed and smiled. "I see the vitamins are working their magic."

Lily learned that the best magic wasn't in the vitamins at all—it was in being kind to everyone, even those who looked different. And sometimes, the most wonderful friends come in the most unexpected packages.
