The Girl With Magic Hair
Lily had the most curious hair in all of Willowbrook Village. It wasn't just curly—it sparkled like morning dew when she laughed. Every morning, her grandmother would weave small flowers into her tangled locks, telling her, "Your hair holds magic, little one. Never forget that."
One hot summer afternoon, Lily followed a blue butterfly deep into the forbidden forest. Her bare feet pressed against soft moss as she wandered farther than she'd ever gone before. Suddenly, she discovered something wonderful—a hidden pool surrounded by ancient trees. The water shimmered with colors that changed like a rainbow.
As Lily leaned over to touch the water, she heard a snort behind her. She turned to find a magnificent bull with golden horns and a coat that sparkled like stars. But something was wrong. The creature was limping badly.
Lily's heart went out to him. "What's wrong, Mr. Bull?" she asked softly.
The bull looked at her with wise, gentle eyes. He lifted his hoof, showing a sharp thorn embedded deep in his soft palm.
Without thinking, Lily knelt beside him. She pulled a small strand from her magic hair and wrapped it around the thorn. "Please help my friend," she whispered.
Her hair glowed warmly. The thorn loosened and fell out. The bull sighed with relief and nudged Lily's hand with his wet nose.
"Thank you, small one," the bull spoke in a deep, rumbly voice. "I am Bram, guardian of the Magic Pool. For your kindness, I grant you one wish."
Lily thought carefully. "I wish that every child in Willowbrook could see how beautiful nature is, so they'll always protect it."
Bram smiled. "A wise wish from a wise child." He touched her forehead with his golden horn, and suddenly, Lily could see magic everywhere—in flowers, in streams, in every living thing.
From that day on, Lily shared her vision with other children. They became guardians of the forest, planting trees and protecting animals. And whenever Lily visited her friend Bram at the magic pool, her hair would sparkle extra bright, reminding everyone that kindness is the greatest magic of all.
