The Friendly Zombie's Padel Game

Lily discovered something magical about her old iPhone. When she took photos of her toys, they came to life in her dreams!

One night, she snapped a picture of her stuffed zombie toy. That night, in Dreamland, Zombie Zog wobbled out of the phone frame. But he wasn't scary at all — he had bright purple hair and a goofy smile.

"Want to play?" Zog asked, holding a padel racket.

Lily's cat, Moonwhiskers, purred and trotted beside them. The dream world was swirling with colors — trees with rainbow leaves, a sky that changed like a kaleidoscope.

Suddenly, a magnificent bull with golden horns trotted onto the padel court. "I'm Barnaby!" he announced. "I'm the dream padel champion!"

Zog looked nervous. His green skin trembled. "I've never played before."

Lily patted his shoulder. "That's okay! Moonwhiskers can teach us."

The cat, surprisingly skilled at padel, showed them how to swing. Barnaby was kind and patient. They played until the dream sky turned pink with morning.

"You're all wonderful friends," Barnaby said as he faded away. "Remember — champions aren't just about winning. They're about including everyone."

Lily woke up smiling. Her zombie toy sat on her shelf, looking almost ready to wink. Moonwhiskers meowed, as if to say, "Same time tomorrow?"

That day, Lily invited the new girl at school to play padel. She didn't look like much of an athlete, but Lily remembered Zombie Zog's nervous smile.

"Everyone starts somewhere," Lily said.

And that's how Lily learned that magic isn't just in dreams. It's in kindness, in giving people a chance, and in the wonderful friends you find in the most unexpected places — even if they happen to be zombies who love padel.
