The Friendly Zombie's Garden

In the little town of Sunnyville, there lived a zombie named Zara. But Zara wasn't scary at all. She had green skin and messy hair, but her smile was warm and her heart was kind. Zara loved to grow flowers in her garden – purple sunflowers and rainbow roses that glowed at night.

Every afternoon, a fluffy orange cat named Whiskers sat on the garden wall, watching Zara work. Whiskers had heard the stories about zombies from the other cats. "Stay away," they'd warned. "Zombies are scary and mean."

But Zara looked so peaceful, humming soft songs while watering her magical plants. Whiskers' tail twitched with curiosity.

One day, a happy golden dog named Barkley bounded into the garden, chasing a butterfly. He tripped over a pumpkin and tumbled right into Zara's arms.

Whiskers held his breath, waiting for something terrible to happen.

Instead, Zara giggled. "Careful, little friend!" She gently set Barkley down and dusted off his golden fur. Then she did something amazing – she touched the pumpkin Barkley had tripped over, and it transformed into a beautiful wagon made of candy!

Barkley's eyes widened with wonder. "Wow! Can I ride in it?"

"Of course!" Zara beamed.

For weeks, Whiskers watched from the wall as Zara and Barkley became best friends. They played games, shared cookies, and Zara used her magic to make flowers dance.

Finally, Whiskers couldn't resist any longer. He jumped down from the wall and landed softly beside them.

"Hello," said Zara kindly. "Would you like to join us? I was just about to make some star-shaped cookies."

Whiskers purred loudly as Zara scratched behind his ears. "I thought zombies were scary," he admitted.

Zara smiled wisely. "Some things aren't what they seem. The important thing is what's in your heart."

And so, in a magical garden filled with glowing flowers, a zombie, a cat, and a dog became the best of friends. The other animals soon learned that Zara was the kindest person in Sunnyville, and she had the most wonderful adventures with her two loyal companions.

Moral: Never judge someone by how they look – true friendship comes from the heart.
