The Friendly Zombie's Big Adventure
Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic. It was full of magical treasures, but her favorite discovery was a dusty toy zombie with bright green hair and a friendly smile.
"Hello there, little friend," she whispered, touching its button eyes. Suddenly, the zombie wiggled! It came alive!
"I'm Z-Ziggy," the zombie said, dancing a silly jig. "I've been sleeping for fifty years!"
Lily giggled. Ziggy wasn't scary at all. He was the friendliest zombie she'd ever met!
The next morning, Lily's neighbor Billy ran over. "My pet bull Buster is stuck! He fell into the old ravine behind our house!"
Lily grabbed Ziggy's hand. "We'll help!"
At the ravine, poor Buster mooed sadly. He was too heavy to climb out. But Lily had an idea. She remembered the thick cable she'd seen in her grandfather's workshop.
"Ziggy, can you help me pull?" Lily asked.
The little zombie's eyes twinkled. "Zombies are STRONGER than they look!"
They tied the cable around a tree and threw the end down to Buster. The bull wrapped it around his horn. Lily, Billy, and Ziggy pulled with all their might. Ziggy's zombie strength was amazing!
"One, two, three, PULL!" Lily shouted.
Slowly, Buster climbed out. The friendly bull nuzzled Ziggy thankfully.
"Ziggy's a hero!" Billy cheered.
That night, Lily tucked Ziggy into bed beside her. "Being different makes you special," she whispered.
The little zombie smiled. Even zombies need friends, and sometimes the most unlikely heroes save the day.
