The Friendly Pyramid Zombies

Lily loved exploring the old attic. One rainy afternoon, she found something amazing—a dusty book with a glowing map inside! It showed a hidden pyramid deep in the forest behind her house.

"I'm going to find it!" Lily declared, grabbing her backpack. Her best friend Toby came too, carrying his dad's old flashlight.

The forest was magical. Fireflies danced like tiny stars. The path led them to a golden pyramid shimmering between two ancient oak trees. It wasn't big—just the right size for kids to explore.

"What's that sound?" Toby whispered. A strange moaning echoed from inside.

Lily's heart raced, but she remembered what her grandmother said: "Sometimes the scariest things are just misunderstood."

They crept inside and gasped. Green creatures shuffled about! They looked like the zombie toys from the store, but something was different. These zombies wore colorful party hats and were tangled up in a giant orange cable.

"Oh no!" cried one zombie. "We're stuck!"

"We were trying to set up the surprise party," explained another zombie sadly. "This cable got all twisted!"

"Wait, you're not scary?" Toby asked, lowering his flashlight.

"Scary?" The zombies laughed. "We're the Party Pyramid Zombies! We celebrate friendship every day!"

Lily and Toby hurried to help. Together, they untangled the cable. The zombies cheered and gave them both magical friendship bracelets that glowed in the dark.

"Will you come back?" asked the smallest zombie.

"Every week!" Lily promised.

As they walked home under the stars, Toby squeezed Lily's hand. "I'm glad we were brave enough to meet them."

"Me too," Lily smiled. "Sometimes the best adventures start when you're brave enough to make friends with something different."

And that's how Lily and Toby became the first humans ever invited to the Party Pyramid, where they learned that kindness can turn anything scary into something magical.
