The Fox Who Saved the Pyramid

Lily loved exploring her backyard, but she never expected to find a magical friend there. One sunny afternoon, a bright orange fox with emerald eyes peeked from behind the old oak tree.

"Hello!" the fox said, tilting his head. "I'm Finnegan. Want to see something amazing?"

Lily's eyes widened. Foxes didn't talk! But she nodded anyway.

Finnegan led her past the garden shed to where a golden pyramid glimmered in the grass. It was only as tall as Lily's knee, but it pulsed with rainbow light.

"This is the Worry Pyramid," Finnegan explained. "It captures all the worries in the world and turns them into something beautiful."

Suddenly, the pyramid trembled. From behind it shuffled three gray creatures with tangled fur and droopy heads. They looked like tiny zombies from Lily's storybooks.

Lily gasped. "Are they... zombies?"

"We're the Worry Keepers," one creature mumbled sadly. "But we're so tired from carrying worries. We haven't played in centuries."

Finnegan's tail swished. "I know just what they need!"

He dashed to the patio and returned with a padel racket. The fox began hitting a magical ball against the pyramid's side. *DING-dong, DING-dong!* Each strike made the pyramid glow brighter.

"Want to play?" Finnegan asked the Worry Keepers.

The creatures perked up. Soon, all five were playing padel together. With every hit, worries transformed into butterflies, flowers, and sparkles that floated into the sky.

Lily laughed and joined the game. By sunset, the pyramid overflowed with magic, and the Worry Keepers danced with joy.

"Thank you!" they cheered. "You reminded us that play chases worry away!"

As stars appeared, Finnegan walked Lily home. "Real friends help each other forget their worries," he said with a wink.

That night, Lily dreamed of padel games with foxes and zombies who weren't scary at all—just friends who needed someone to play with.
