The Fox Who Saved Sunnybrook Farm
In the heart of Sunnybrook Farm, a clever orange fox named Finnegan lived in an old hollow oak tree. Finnegan wasn't like other foxes — he wore a tiny blue bandana around his neck and could speak to all the farm animals.
One sunny morning, Finnegan noticed something strange. Farmer McGregor's children, usually full of giggles, were walking slowly around the garden with arms outstretched, moaning "We want... snacks..." They looked like tiny **zombie** children, but not the scary kind from stories — more like grumpy, hungry zombies who hadn't eaten their breakfast.
"Oh dear," whispered Finnegan to his friend Bella the Bunny. "Those children need help!"
Finnegan crept through the tall grass until he reached Farmer McGregor's prize-winning **spinach** patch. The great, leafy green plants shimmered with morning dew. But the spinach looked droopy and sad.
"What's wrong with you?" Finnegan asked the nearest spinach plant.
"We're missing our special **vitamin** magic," the plant replied in a squeaky voice. "Without it, we can't make children strong and happy. The Vitamin Fairy forgot to visit us last night!"
Finnegan's fluffy ears perked up. He knew exactly what to do. The clever fox dashed to the edge of the farm where the Vitamin Fairy's garden grew. There, glowing like tiny emeralds, were the special vitamin crystals that made spinach magical.
"Just what I need!" Finnegan scooped up the crystals in his bandana and raced back to the spinach patch. He sprinkled the shimmering dust carefully over each plant.
WHOOSH! The spinach stood up tall, glowing with green magic. When Farmer McGregor's children plucked the fresh leaves and made smoothies, they weren't zombie-like anymore. They jumped and laughed with energy.
"Thank you, Finnegan!" they cheered.
And that's how one clever fox saved the day, teaching everyone that sometimes the smallest heroes can make the biggest difference — and that eating your vegetables really does give you superpowers!
