The Fox Who Chased Lightning

Felix was no ordinary fox. While other foxes chased rabbits through the forest, Felix spent his days watching the old badger play padel behind the big oak tree. The badger would hit a small ball against a wooden wall, and Felix dreamed of the day he could join the game.

One rainy afternoon, as Felix hid under a papaya tree, he saw something extraordinary. A bolt of lightning didn't just flash across the sky—it danced! The lightning zigzagged down from the clouds and landed right in front of him, transforming into a glowing silver fox.

"Hello, little one," the Lightning Fox said with a voice like tinkling bells. "I've been watching you. You have a kind heart."

Felix's tail wagged so hard it almost knocked over a ripe papaya. "Can you really grant wishes?"

"I can give you one gift," said the Lightning Fox. "But you must use it to help others."

Felix thought carefully. He didn't ask for the ability to play padel like the badger. Instead, he said, "I want to help everyone in the forest find their special talents."

The Lightning Fox smiled and touched Felix's nose with a sparkling paw. Suddenly, Felix could see glowing colors around every animal—a beautiful blue around the squirrel who could leap higher than any other, a brilliant green around the beaver who built the strongest dams, and a shining purple around himself.

"Now you can guide others to discover their gifts," the Lightning Fox said before fading back into the sky.

That very afternoon, Felix helped the shy young rabbit realize she could run faster than anyone. He showed the tiny sparrow that his song could make flowers bloom. And when the old badger finally let Felix play padel, everyone discovered that Felix could hit the ball so precisely it created rainbows in the air.

From that day on, the forest became a place where every animal's unique talent was celebrated. And whenever lightning flashed across the sky during a storm, Felix would smile, remembering his magical friend who taught him that the greatest gift of all is helping others shine.
