The Fox Who Caught Lightning

Felix was no ordinary fox. While other foxes in the Whispering Woods had sleek orange fur, Felix's hair stuck up in wild tufts that crackled with static. Every time he shook his head, tiny sparks danced around his ears like stars.

"You're strange, Felix," the other animals would say, but his mother loved him. "Your hair is special," she told him each night. "One day, you'll understand why."

One stormy afternoon, Felix found an old wooden shed behind the meadow. Inside, hanging on a rusty nail, was a dusty blue padel racket. It glowed softly in his paws.

Suddenly, lightning struck the shed's roof! But instead of burning, the bolt split into two and poured itself into the padel racket. The wood began to shine like captured sunshine.

Felix lifted the magical racket. A ball of pure light appeared! When he hit it with the padel, the ball soared into the storm clouds and painted them rainbows. The thunder grumbled, then chuckled, turning into gentle laughter.

The storm dissolved into sunshine. All the animals gathered around, amazed.

"Teach us!" cried the rabbits. "Play with us!" cheered the badgers.

Felix smiled, his messy hair sparkling even brighter than before. He realized his strange hair had attracted the lightning—and the lightning had given him the power to chase away storms and bring joy to everyone.

Every afternoon after that, Felix taught all the animals to play magical padel together. They hit glowing balls that turned into flowers, butterflies, and candy when they landed.

And Felix? He learned that being different wasn't strange at all. It was magic.
