The Fox Who Brought Magic

Lily loved visiting her grandmother's cottage, where the forest whispered secrets. One afternoon, she spotted a magnificent fox with gleaming copper fur and the fluffiest tail she'd ever seen. The fox's bright eyes sparkled with mischief.

"Follow me!" the fox seemed to say, twitching its tail. Lily hesitated, then followed deeper into the woods until they reached a clearing she'd never seen before. In the center stood a small pyramid made of smooth stones, covered in glowing symbols.

Suddenly, the sky darkened. A bolt of lightning struck the pyramid, and Lily gasped as stones tumbled away. Inside emerged not treasure, but a sad little creature with messy green hair and droopy eyes—a zombie, but not a scary one. It looked like a magical snowman brought to life by accident.

"I've been stuck for a hundred years," the zombie said in a wheezy voice. "Will you be my friend?"

The fox nuzzled the zombie's hand, and Lily's fear melted away. "I'm Lily, and this is... well, what's your name?"

"I don't remember," the zombie admitted sadly.

Lily's hair blew in the wind as an idea struck her. "We'll give you a new name! How about... Sparky? Because the lightning brought you to us!"

Sparky's eyes lit up. The fox did a happy dance, and all three new friends spent the afternoon playing games among the ancient trees. As sunset painted the sky gold, Lily realized something wonderful: sometimes the best adventures happen when you're brave enough to follow a fox, and true friends come in the most surprising forms.

"Come back tomorrow!" Sparky called as Lily headed home, her heart full of magic. The fox winked, and Lily knew this was just the beginning of many extraordinary adventures together.
