The Fox's Secret Pool
Lily loved exploring the forest behind her house. Every Saturday, she'd pack a small lunch and discover something new. One sunny morning, she spotted something orange flash between the trees.
A beautiful fox with the softest red fur she'd ever seen appeared. But this fox was different—its eyes sparkled like tiny stars.
'Are you a magical fox?' Lily whispered, not afraid at all.
The fox nodded and spoke in a voice like wind chimes. 'I'm Finn, and I need your help. Will you be my friend?'

'This is the Wish Pool,' Finn explained. 'Once, a mean spy tried to steal its magic. Now the pool is scared and won't grant wishes anymore.'
Lily looked at the sad, dimming colors in the pool. 'How can we help it feel brave again?'
'We must show it true friendship,' Finn said. 'The spy tricked the pool with lies. We need to prove that real friends never trick each other.'
Lily took a deep breath and spoke from her heart. 'Dear pool, I promise to always be honest and kind. Finn is my friend, and friends protect each other. You're safe with us.'
She held Finn's paw, and together they touched the water gently. The pool began to glow brighter and brighter! Suddenly, the most beautiful fish made of pure light swam to the surface.
'Thank you,' the pool seemed to whisper in Lily's mind. 'You've shown me that true friendship is the strongest magic.'
The pool granted them each one wish. Lily wished that everyone could have a friend as wonderful as Finn. The fox wished that Lily would always find magic in the world.
