Lily loved exploring the woods behind her house. One sunny afternoon, she discovered something strange half-buried in the moss—a shiny, black rectangle. She wiped away the dirt. It looked just like her mom's iPhone, but older, with mysterious symbols glowing on its surface.

The moment she touched it, the screen lit up with swirling colors. A gentle voice whispered, "Help me... please..."

Lily looked around. From behind an oak tree stepped a small creature with patchy gray fur and button eyes. It stumbled forward, arms outstretched.

"Are you... a zombie?" Lily asked, remembering her big brother's video games.

The creature shook its head slowly. "I was a teddy bear," it said sadly. "But I was forgotten, and I became lonely and gray. The magic forest changed me."

Just then, a beautiful orange fox with the fluffiest tail Lily had ever seen stepped into the clearing. The fox's green eyes sparkled with wisdom.

"I am Finn," the fox said. "And you've found the Magic Mirror. It shows the truth behind appearances."

Finn explained that the zombie-like creature was actually Mr. Cuddles, a teddy bear who had been lost years ago. The forest's magic had kept him safe but changed his appearance.

Lily's heart filled with compassion. She didn't see a scary zombie—she saw someone who needed a friend.

"Will you come home with me?" Lily asked Mr. Cuddles. "I have a warm bed and lots of hugs."
