The Fox's Lightning Baseball

A little fox named Felix loved baseball more than anything in the forest. But he was too small to play with the bigger animals. One night, during a terrible lightning storm, Felix found a goldfish flopping in a puddle, far from her pond.

"Please help me!" cried the goldfish. "I'm magical - I can grant you one wish!"

Felix carried the goldfish back to the sparkling pond. "I wish to be big and strong for baseball!" he said.

The goldfish smiled. "Being big isn't everything. But I can help. Eat this special spinach, and it will give you super speed and power when you need it most - but only if you're brave and kind."

Felix trusted her and ate the magical spinach. At the big championship game, the other team laughed at tiny Felix. But when the lightning flashed across the sky, Felix felt the spinach's magic surge through him.

He hit the ball so hard it flew into the clouds! He ran around all four bases faster than anyone had ever seen. His team cheered and carried him on their shoulders. Even the grumpy bears clapped.

That night, the goldfish appeared to Felix in a dream. "You weren't big, but you were brave and believed in yourself. That's your true power."

Felix became the team's hero, teaching all the little animals that size doesn't matter - heart does. And whenever lightning flashed, he remembered his magical friend and smiled.
