The Fox's Golden Baseball
Felix the fox loved baseball more than anything. Every afternoon, he trotted to the meadow where the forest animals gathered to play. But Felix had a problem—his paws were too small to grip the ball properly.
One sunny morning, Felix's grandmother gave him a glowing orange capsule. "This is a special vitamin from the Enchanted Garden," she said with twinkling eyes. "It will help you believe in yourself."
Felix swallowed the vitamin and felt warmth spread through his chest. That afternoon, something magical happened. When the baseball game began, Felix closed his eyes and imagined himself catching every ball.
Suddenly, his paws tingled. When Felix opened his eyes, the baseball looked enormous! He reached up and caught a fly ball that seemed to float right into his paws. The animals gasped.
"Amazing!" chirped a bluebird. "How did you do that?"
Felix smiled. "I believed I could."
But the real magic wasn't the vitamin at all. As the season continued, Felix realized the courage had been inside him all along. The vitamin simply helped him see it.
By the championship game, Felix wasn't just the best player—he was also the kindest. He taught the shy rabbit to pitch and showed the nervous squirrel how to bat. The fox who once struggled to hold the ball now helped everyone discover their own special magic.
That summer, Felix learned that the most important vitamin isn't found in any garden—it's the vitamin of believing in yourself and helping others believe too.
