The Fox and the Zombie's Sunny Surprise
Lily was playing padel in her backyard when something orange darted past the fence. A fox! But not just any fox — this one wore a tiny bandana around its neck.
"Hello there!" Lily called, dropping her racquet.
The fox stopped and looked at her with bright amber eyes. Then, to Lily's surprise, it spoke! "I'm Finnegan, and I need your help. My friend Zara is sad."
"A fox with a friend named Zara?" Lily giggled. "Where is she?"
Finnegan led Lily through the garden gate and into the magical woods beyond. There, sitting on a mushroom, was the saddest zombie Lily had ever seen. But Zara wasn't scary — she had green patches on her cheeks and flower crowns in her hair.
"Why are you sad?" Lily asked.
Zara sighed. "I'm supposed to guard the Sunny Garden, but I lost the special vitamin that keeps everything bright and happy. Without it, the flowers are drooping."
Lily pulled out her iPhone. "Maybe we can search online for clues!"
Together, the three friends looked through pictures of magical vitamins. Finally, they found it — the Golden Sunshine Vitamin, hidden in the old oak tree!
Finnegan scampered up the trunk while Zara used her zombie strength to lift heavy branches. Lily reached into the hollow and found something glowing. It was a beautiful orange crystal shaped like a sun.
"The Sunshine Vitamin!" Zara cheered. Her green patches turned rosy pink.
They placed the vitamin in the garden's center. Instantly, flowers bloomed, butterflies danced, and everything sparkled.
"Thank you," Zara said, hugging her new friends. "You taught me something important. Even when things seem dark, friends can help you find the light."
Lily waved goodbye as she skipped home, her padel game forgotten. She had made two magical friends and learned that adventure finds you when you least expect it — especially if you're kind to foxes in bandanas.
