The Fox and the Midnight Gardener

runningfriendfoxzombie

Lucas loved **running** through the Whispering Woods, especially when the moon painted silver paths between the trees. Every evening, his faithful companion Rusty, a clever little **fox** with fur the color of autumn leaves, would bound beside him, their shadows dancing together like old friends.

One starry night, they discovered something magical—a secret garden hidden behind a curtain of ivy. But this garden was different. The flowers were droopy, the trees were sleepy, and everything seemed to need help.

Then they saw him: a greenish figure with flowers growing from his pockets, a **zombie** who wasn't scary at all. He was a gardener! His name was Bloom, and he explained that he'd been created by the moon's magic to care for forgotten gardens.

"I'm not a scary zombie," Bloom said kindly, tending to a wilted rose. "I'm a plant zombie. I help sleeping flowers wake up again."

Lucas and Rusty became Bloom's **friend** that very night. Together, they watered the thirsty plants, sang to the shy flowers, and scattered moonlight like fairy dust. The garden transformed—roses blushed pink, sunflowers stretched their petals, and morning glories climbed higher than ever.

From that night on, Lucas learned that appearances can be deceiving. Sometimes the most wonderful friends come in the most unexpected packages. And every evening, when the stars twinkled like tiny lanterns, you could find three friends—a boy, a fox, and a zombie gardener—running through the woods, making magic bloom wherever they went.
