The Fox and the Golden Pyramid
Felix was a clever little fox with rusty-red fur and a twitchy nose. Every morning, he would trot through the Sunny Meadow, his tail waving like a fluffy flag. He loved exploring—every day brought new discoveries!
One Tuesday, something caught Felix's eye. Near the old palm tree where he often napped, something glittered. It was orange and bright, glowing like a tiny piece of the sun!
Felix crept closer. It was a pyramid—the size of an acorn—but it shimmered and sparkled. Strange symbols covered its sides, pulsing with a warm orange light. Felix had never seen anything so beautiful.
"Mine!" he thought, and scooped up the pyramid in his paw.
But then a tiny voice squeaked, "Please don't take it!"
Felix jumped. A little hummingbird hovered nearby, her feathers gleaming green and blue. "That pyramid belongs to everyone," she said softly. "It's the Meadow's heart. It makes the grass grow and the flowers bloom."
Felix looked at the glowing pyramid. He wanted to keep it all for himself. But then he noticed the hummingbird's sad eyes—and how brown and droopy the palm tree's leaves looked.
"Will you be my friend if I put it back?" Felix asked.
The hummingbird zipped happily around him. "I'm Penny! And yes, I'll be your friend forever!"
Felix placed the orange pyramid back in its special spot. Instantly, golden light spread through the meadow. The palm tree's leaves perked up. Flowers bloomed in every color imaginable.
Penny landed on Felix's nose. "You made the right choice, Felix. The best treasures are the ones we share with friends."
Felix grinned. From that day on, he and Penny guarded the magical pyramid together. And every evening, they sat beneath the palm tree, watching the orange pyramid glow, knowing that friendship was the greatest treasure of all.
After all, what's a magical adventure without a friend to share it with?
