The Fox and the Glowing Pyramid
Felix was a curious little fox with fur as red as autumn leaves. Every night, he would sneak out of his den to explore the forest, his nose twitching with wonder. One moonless evening, he discovered something he had never seen before.
Deep in the heart of the Whispering Woods stood a pyramid, but it wasn't made of stone like the ones in his storybooks. This pyramid glowed a brilliant orange, like a tiny sun had fallen from the sky and landed right there among the ancient trees. The orange light pulsed softly, casting warm shadows on the ferns around it.
Felix approached carefully, his tail bushed with excitement. As he got closer, he noticed something magical—whenever he stepped near the orange pyramid, it grew brighter, as if it were happy to see him.
"Who are you?" Felix whispered.
The pyramid didn't speak with words, but Felix felt its answer in his heart. It was lonely. It had been waiting for a friend for hundreds of years.
Felix realized that the orange glow was actually made of tiny happy thoughts—dreams that children had forgotten, wishes that had been lost, and moments of joy that had slipped away. The pyramid collected them all, keeping them safe, but it had no one to share them with.
Without hesitation, Felix did something surprising. He curled up right next to the orange pyramid and closed his eyes. He thought about his favorite things: the smell of pine needles, the taste of wild berries, the warmth of his mother's fur. As he shared these happy thoughts, the pyramid began to hum softly, and its orange light swelled until it illuminated the whole forest clearing.
Other animals emerged from the darkness—rabbits, badgers, even a shy old owl. Felix invited them all to share their happy thoughts too. As each animal contributed, the pyramid grew brighter and warmer, until the clearing became the most magical place in the forest.
That night, Felix learned an important lesson: happiness is meant to be shared. The orange pyramid wasn't just a magical object—it was a reminder that the brightest light comes from many hearts joined together in friendship.
From then on, every full moon, all the forest creatures would gather at the orange pyramid to share their happiest moments. And Felix, the little fox who had been brave enough to approach something strange and beautiful, became the guardian of their joy.
