The Fox and the Friendly Zombie
In the heart of the Whispering Woods, where golden sunlight danced through emerald leaves, lived a clever little fox named Pip. Pip had a secret treasure: a magical padel racquet that sparkled like stardust. Every morning, he'd practice his swings against an old oak tree, dreaming of becoming the greatest padel player in the forest.
One cloudy afternoon, while Pip was perfecting his serve, he heard a groan from behind the berry bushes. Out stumbled a zombie child, with greenish skin and tangled hair. Pip's tail puffed up with fear!
"Please don't run," the zombie said sadly. "I just want to watch. I used to play padel before... before I became like this."
Pip noticed the zombie's eyes weren't scary at all—they were kind and lonely. His fear melted into curiosity.
"I'm Pip," said the fox, holding out his paw. "What's your name?"
"Zoe," she whispered. "Everyone runs away from me. They think I'm scary."
"Not me," said Pip bravely. "Would you like to play?"
Zoe's eyes widened with wonder. Together, they hit the padel ball back and forth. At first, Zoe was slow and stiff. But with each hit, she became more alive—her skin rosier, her movements quicker. The magic of friendship and play was stronger than any zombie curse!
Other animals emerged from the trees, watching in amazement. Soon, rabbits, badgers, and birds joined their game. No one was afraid of Zoe anymore.
That evening, as stars twinkled above, Pip learned something wonderful: sometimes the scariest-looking things just need a friend. And sometimes, magic happens when we're brave enough to say "hello" instead of running away.
From that day on, the Whispering Woods held padel matches every afternoon. And Zoe? She wasn't a zombie anymore—just a girl who loved padel, with a very special fox as her best friend.
