The Fox and the Emerald Pyramid

Felix was a fox with ears too big for his head and curiosity too big for his heart. Every night, while other foxes slept, Felix would sneak out to explore the meadow beyond his den.

One moonlit evening, Felix followed a trail of glowing buttercups deep into the forest. The flowers led him to something he'd never seen before—a perfect pyramid made entirely of emerald-green spinach leaves, stacked higher than his head and shimmering with tiny sparkles.

"Who's there?" squeaked a small voice.

Felix jumped! A tiny rabbit with soft gray fur hopped out from behind the magical spinach pyramid. "I'm Oliver," the rabbit said timidly. "I built this pyramid for the Moon Festival tomorrow."

"But why spinach?" Felix asked, tilting his head.

"Because spinach is strong!" Oliver explained proudly. "My grandmother says spinach gives you power to do anything you dream of. I want to be brave enough to sing at the festival, so I'm building a spinach pyramid to show the moon I'm trying."

Felix's heart squeezed. He wanted to help this little rabbit.

"I'll be your friend," Felix said. "And I'll teach you that true bravery isn't about eating spinach—it's about having someone believe in you."

Together, they fixed the leaning spinach leaves. When the moon rose, Felix sat beside Oliver as the rabbit sang the sweetest song anyone had ever heard. The spinach pyramid glowed brighter than the stars.

"Thank you, Felix," Oliver whispered. "You're the best friend ever."

Felix smiled, his big ears wiggling. He had discovered something more magical than any pyramid—a friend who made even ordinary spinach feel extraordinary.
