The Fog Zombie's Magic Cable
Lily loved exploring her grandmother's attic. Every Saturday, she'd climb the creaky stairs and discover treasures from long ago. But one rainy afternoon, she found something peculiar—a glittering cable that seemed to hum with magic.
"Grandma, what's this?" Lily called, but her grandmother was downstairs baking cookies.
The cable wiggled in Lily's hands like a friendly snake. It glowed golden and warm, and when she gave it a gentle tug, the attic wall shimmered like a soap bubble. Curious, Lily pulled harder, and the wall dissolved into mist!
Through the mist, she saw the most unusual creature—a small, gray figure shambling slowly among floating clouds. It looked a bit like a zombie, with pale skin and slow movements, but its eyes sparkled like tiny stars.
"Hello?" Lily whispered.
The zombie stopped. Its eyes widened. It tried to speak but only produced soft puffs of fog. Lily noticed something terrible—the zombie was fading! Its gray color was turning transparent, like morning mist disappearing under the sun.
The zombie held out a hand. In its palm sat three glowing crystals.
"Are those... vitamins?" Lily asked, remembering the chewable vitamins she took every morning.
The zombie nodded weakly and pointed at the cable in Lily's hands. Suddenly, Lily understood! The cable connected her world to this misty realm, and the zombie needed magic vitamins to stay real and solid.
But the crystals were dull and gray. They needed something special to work.
Lily thought hard. What made her vitamins work? Love! Friendship! Joy!
She closed her eyes and thought of her grandma's hugs, her best friend's laughter, the way fireflies danced in summer. She poured all that love into the crystals through the golden cable.
The crystals burst into rainbow colors! The zombie swallowed them eagerly, and its pale skin turned rosy and healthy. It twirled happily, sending sparkles dancing through the mist.
"Thank you!" the zombie finally spoke, its voice like wind chimes. "I'm Foggy, the cloud keeper. I got lonely and faded away. But your friendship made me strong again!"
Foggy gave Lily a special crystal—a friendship vitamin that would glow whenever she needed a friend. "The magic cable will always connect our worlds now."
Lily returned through the misty wall, the golden cable humming softly in her pocket. She realized that zombies weren't scary at all—sometimes, they just needed a friend to help them shine.
From that day on, Lily visited Foggy often. They played in the clouds, shared stories, and proved that the strongest magic in all the worlds wasn't vitamins or cables—it was friendship.
