The Fish Who Swam Through Air
Leo was bored inside on a rainy Saturday. His mom's old iphone sat on the kitchen table, glowing softly in the dim light. He wasn't supposed to touch it, but something made the screen flicker a strange orange color. Curious, Leo reached out. Suddenly, tiny ripples spread across the screen, and a little goldfish popped out! But this was no ordinary fish - she was swimming through the air, leaving sparkly trails behind her.
"Hello!" the fish said, her voice sounding like tiny bells. "I'm Marina, and I need your help! My friends are trapped in the pond nearby - the water's disappearing!"
Leo's eyes went wide. "But how can I help? I'm just a kid."
"You have something special," Marina said, flipping her golden tail. "The iphone you touched is magic - it belongs to the Keeper of Dreams. But you must be fast!"
Without thinking twice, Leo grabbed his raincoat and started running outside, with Marina swimming beside him through the rain. Each droplet she passed through turned into a tiny orange crystal that floated up to join the clouds.
They reached the pond, and sure enough - the water was almost gone! Fish were flopping helplessly in the mud. Leo didn't know what to do, but Marina circled above him. "Hold the iphone high and make a wish from your heart!"
Leo closed his eyes tight and wished with everything he had. "I wish these fish could swim free and happy again!" The iphone blazed bright orange, sending rays of light down into the pond. Water began to bubble up from nowhere, filling the pond until it overflowed with crystal-clear water.
The fish cheered, splashing happily. Marina landed on Leo's nose and whispered, "Thank you. The magic was never in the phone - it was in your kind heart all along."
That night, Leo fell asleep dreaming of orange skies and fish that swam through stars, knowing that courage and kindness could make anything possible.
