The Fish Who Could Walk
In a cozy blue bowl lived Finnigan, a goldfish with shimmering orange scales and one very big dream. While other fish just swam in circles, Finnigan wanted to see the world beyond his glass walls.
One magical night, a sparkle-bright star fell through the window and into Finnigan's bowl. Suddenly, he grew two tiny feet! Finnigan flipped out of his bowl and onto the windowsill.
"Hello there!" said a voice from the garden. It was Felix, a clever fox with soft rust-colored fur and the fluffiest tail Finnigan had ever seen. "I've never met a fish who could walk."
"I'm Finnigan!" he said, wiggling his new toes. "I want to see the world!"
Felix smiled. "Then come with me! But stay close — there's a strange creature in the old garden. They call him a zombie."
Finnigan's eyes went wide. "What's a zombie?"
"Nobody knows," Felix whispered. "He stumbles around at night, all green and wobbly. Everyone's afraid of him."
Together, fish and fox crept to the garden. There, beneath the moonlight, they saw him — a little green bunny with one flopped ear, bumping gently into flowers. He looked sad and lonely.
"Hello?" Finnigan called out bravely.
The bunny jumped! "Oh! You... you're not scared of me?" His voice was soft and sweet. "I'm Ziggy. I was just very sick for a long time, and now I'm all better, but everyone runs away when they see me."
Felix's heart melted. "You're not scary at all. You're just lonely!"
Finnigan had an idea. "I have magic star-dust!" He sprinkled tiny sparkles over Ziggy. "This will help everyone see the real you!"
The next morning, when the other animals saw Ziggy, they didn't see a zombie. They saw a friend who needed help, and soon Ziggy was playing and laughing with everyone.
Finnigan learned something wonderful that day: sometimes, the things that seem scary are just friends we haven't met yet. And with a little courage and kindness, even a goldfish, a fox, and a zombie-bunny can become the best of friends.
