The Fish Who Could Fly
Fin was the smallest goldfish in Mrs. Potter's classroom tank, but he had the biggest dreams. While the other fish swam in lazy circles, Fin pressed his nose against the glass, watching the children outside running and playing baseball. He imagined himself sliding into home plate, the crowd cheering, his golden scales shining like tiny trophies.
One magical afternoon, when Mrs. Potter had gone home, something wonderful happened. A gentle brown bear appeared at the classroom window — not a scary bear, but one with kind eyes and a fuzzy smile. He tapped on the glass with his paw.
"I've been watching you dream, little friend," said Bear. "Tonight, something magical is happening. Come with me."
Fin's fishbowl suddenly began to float! Bear carried him through the school and into the enchanted forest behind the playground. They ran through moonlit meadows until they reached it — a magnificent crystal pyramid glowing with rainbow light.
"This is the Pyramid of Wishes," Bear explained. "Inside, anything you dream about becomes real."
Inside the pyramid, Fin found himself swimming through sparkling air. Suddenly, he wasn't just swimming — he was flying! He could feel the wind beneath his fins, see the whole world below. A baseball appeared, glowing with stardust. Fin grabbed it with his mouth and zoomed around the pyramid like the fastest player ever.
Bear watched with delight as Fin created a whole baseball game in the air. They played until dawn, and Fin learned something wonderful: he didn't need to be a baseball player to be special. He was already magical just by being a fish who could dream big.
When morning came, Bear carried Fin back to his classroom. "Remember," Bear whispered, "the real magic isn't in the pyramid. It's in you."
Fin settled back into his bowl, but he wasn't just swimming in circles anymore. He was practicing for his next adventure, because he knew that even the smallest fish could have the biggest dreams.
