Barnaby was no ordinary dog. While other dogs chased squirrels or napped in sunny patches, Barnaby loved baseball. Every afternoon, he trotted to the park where the neighborhood kids played, his tail wagging like a metronome counting down to first pitch.

Barnaby's ears perked up. He understood! In every game he'd watched, teamwork mattered more than talent. He barked encouragement, herding the players into a huddle. At first, the Giants grumbled, but Barnaby's golden eyes convinced them to listen.

"Pass the ball!" Luna shouted. "Trust your teammates!"

Suddenly, the Giants were flying across the diamond, passing the shimmering baseball with perfect grace. When the final player crossed home plate, the crowd—made of constellations—cheered so brightly that new stars were born.

"You taught us that friendship wins championships," the captain told Barnaby, pressing a silver medal into his fur. "Visit us whenever you need a reminder."

Barnaby woke up in his garage, the cable pulsing softly beside him. The next afternoon, he returned to the neighborhood game, barking and nudging the kids until they formed their first real team huddle. They won that game—not because of home runs, but because they passed the ball and cheered for each other.
