The Dancing Zombie of Pyramid Park

Lily loved walking her golden retriever, Sunny, through the old park every Saturday. But one sunny afternoon, something magical happened. Near the forgotten sandbox stood a mysterious little pyramid made of colorful blocks—the kind children leave behind at sunset.

'What's that, Sunny?' Lily whispered. The dog wagged his tail, sniffing the pyramid curiously. Suddenly, the pyramid began to glow! A dusty, clumsy zombie popped out from behind it.

But this wasn't a scary zombie. He wore a polka-dotted hat and had the goofiest grin Lily had ever seen. 'Hello!' he said, his voice sounding like crunchy autumn leaves. 'I'm Zippy! I've been sleeping for a hundred years, waiting for someone to dance with me!'

Sunny barked happily and started running in excited circles around the pyramid. Zippy tried to copy him, tripping over his own feet in the silliest way. Lily giggled—she couldn't help it!

'I'll teach you!' Lily offered. She showed Zippy how to skip, hop, and twirl. The zombie's attempts were so clumsy and wonderful that Sunny joined in too, leaping and barking with joy. Together, they turned the park into a magical dance floor.

'Thank you,' Zippy said when the sun began to set. 'Friendship is the best magic of all.' He handed Lily a sparkling rainbow stone from the pyramid before disappearing back inside his colorful home.

Every Saturday after that, Lily and Sunny returned to dance beside the pyramid. Sometimes they saw Zippy's polka-dotted hat peeking out, and sometimes the pyramid simply glowed, reminding them that the best friends are the ones who make you laugh, dance, and believe in magic.

Lily learned that adventure can be found anywhere, even in forgotten parks, and that sometimes the most wonderful surprises come from the most unexpected places—especially when you're brave enough to say hello.
