The Dancing Zombie Bull
In the sleepy town of Willowbrook, there lived a young girl named Lily who loved adventures more than anything. Every day after school, she would go running through the meadows behind her house, her red curls bouncing in the wind.
One sunny afternoon, Lily discovered something peculiar in old Farmer McGregor's barn. A magnificent bull named Barnaby was standing completely still, staring blankly at the wall. His eyes looked funny, and he moved in slow, jerky motions—like a clockwork toy winding down.
The other farm animals whispered that Barnaby had become a zombie bull. But Lily didn't believe in scary things like that. She believed in magic and friendship.
Every day for a week, Lily visited Barnaby. She brought him fresh apples, sang him songs, and told him stories about her adventures. "Barnaby," she said one day, "I think you're just lonely. Everyone needs a friend."
Something wonderful happened. Barnaby's eyes twinkled. He let out a happy "moo!" and started doing a silly, wobbly dance. It wasn't a zombie dance at all—it was a happy dance!
Farmer McGregor laughed so hard he cried. "That bull hasn't danced since his best friend, a little goat, moved to another farm last year. He was simply heartbroken!"
Lily learned something important that day: sometimes things seem scary or strange, but they might just need a little kindness. From then on, Barnaby and Lily went running through the meadows together every afternoon, the happiest zombie bull in all the land—and the only one who loved to dance.
