The Crystal Pyramid Magic
Luna was no ordinary cat. With fur as white as clouds and eyes like emerald moons, she spent her days exploring. One afternoon, while prowling around Mrs. Higgins' garden, she spotted something shimmering in the pool.
The water began to swirl, creating a perfect pyramid shape that rose from the depths. It wasn't made of stone or gold, but of crystal that caught every sunbeam and turned it into rainbows. Luna's tail twitched with curiosity.
As she approached the pool's edge, a tiny voice called out, "Welcome, curious feline!"
A goldfish with scales like spun gold appeared at the pyramid's tip, floating in the air. "I am Finnegan, guardian of the Crystal Pyramid. Once every hundred years, it rises to grant one pure heart their deepest wish."
Luna's heart raced. She could wish for endless treats, or for all the mice in the world to dance into her paws, or for the ability to fly like birds. But as she looked at Finnegan's wise, golden eyes, she thought of her lonely kitten days, and how Mrs. Higgins had opened her home with warm saucers of milk.
"I wish," Luna meowed softly, "that everyone who feels lonely would find a friend as wonderful as Mrs. Higgins."
The pyramid pulsed with brilliant light, shooting golden rays across the garden. Finnegan smiled. "A wish born of kindness creates magic that lasts forever."
That night, Luna noticed something magical—new butterflies appeared in every garden, children who had once played alone found friends, and even grumpy Mr. Jenkins adopted three kittens. The Crystal Pyramid had dissolved back into the pool, but its magic remained in every friendship that bloomed.
Luna curled up beside Mrs. Higgins, purring contentedly. Sometimes, she thought, the best wishes aren't the ones for yourself—they're the ones that make everyone else's dreams come true too.
