The Crystal Pyramid

Lily discovered something magical in her backyard. A tiny crystal pyramid sparkled beneath the old oak tree. When she touched it, the ground rumbled like thunder.

Suddenly, a friendly bear named Barnaby appeared. He wore a bright red scarf and carried a silver pocket watch.

"You found it!" Barnaby cheered. "The Pool of Wonders awaits!"

He showed her his palm, where a glowing map appeared. It pointed toward the garden shed.

They opened the shed door and gasped. Instead of garden tools, they found a magnificent crystal pool. Stars swirled inside it like captured galaxies.

"Make a wish," Barnaby whispered.

Lily wished for everyone to have a best friend. The pyramid glowed brighter and brighter until the whole backyard sparkled like diamonds.

"Your wish is granted," Barnaby said. "The pyramid chose you because your heart is kind."

He explained that the magical pool had waited centuries for someone pure-hearted to find it. Now, whenever someone needed a friend, the pyramid would help them.

"But you must promise something," the bear said seriously. "Never use magic for selfish reasons. True friendship comes from giving, not taking."

Lily promised. Barnaby hugged her goodbye and vanished in a puff of golden sparkles. The pyramid remained on her nightstand, reminding her that kindness is the greatest magic of all.

From that day on, Lily was known as the girl who brought friends together. And every night, the tiny pyramid glowed softly, watching over her dreams.

The magic hadn't just given her wishes—it had given her wisdom, too. Sometimes the best treasures aren't what we find, but what we give away.
