The Crystal Pool Pyramid

Lily loved visiting her grandmother's house, especially on hot summer days. The backyard held a secret: an old swimming **pool** that hadn't been used in years. But Lily didn't mind. She knew better.

One afternoon, while dangling her feet in the cool **water**, tiny ripples began to glow. The blue surface shimmered like crushed diamonds, and suddenly, the pool transformed into a magnificent crystal **pyramid** rising from the ground. Its walls sparkled with rainbow light.

"Wow!" Lily breathed, stepping inside.

The pyramid was filled with floating bubbles, each containing a memory. She saw her grandmother as a little girl, learning to swim. She saw children laughing, splashing, making memories that lasted forever.

Then she noticed a small figure in the corner—a water sprite named Splash, looking lonely.

"I'm Splash," the sprite said sadly. "Everyone who finds this pyramid always leaves. No one stays to be my **friend**."

Lily smiled. "I'll be your friend. And I'll visit every summer."

Splash's eyes lit up. "Really?"

"Really," Lily promised. "Friends don't leave each other alone."

The pyramid glowed brighter than ever. Splash showed Lily how to make the water dance, how to shape bubbles into animals, and how every drop of water held a story waiting to be discovered.

That summer, Lily learned that the best magic isn't in crystal pyramids or glowing pools—it's in friendship, in keeping promises, and in seeing the wonder in unexpected places.

And every summer after, Lily returned. She and Splash would make the water dance, create bubble butterflies, and add new memories to the pyramid's walls.

Because some friendships are worth keeping, no matter how magical the journey.
