The Crystal Bull's Secret
Lily loved walking along the beach near her home, collecting shells and watching the waves dance against the shore. One sunny afternoon, she spotted something strange floating in the shallow water—an orange that glowed like a tiny sun.
Curious, Lily waded into the cool water and picked it up. The orange felt warm in her hands, as if it held a secret. When she peeled back the bright skin, she gasped in wonder. Inside sat a tiny crystal bull no bigger than her thumb, its eyes sparkling with ancient magic.
"Greetings, young friend," the bull spoke in a voice like bubbling streams. "I am Orion, guardian of the Lost Pyramid. I've waited many years for someone with a kind heart to help me."
Lily's eyes widened with excitement. "A pyramid? Like the ones in Egypt?"
Orion shook his crystal head. "Not exactly. The Sunken Pyramid lies beneath these very waves, holding magic that keeps the ocean's creatures safe. But the magic is fading, and only someone pure of heart can restore it."
Without hesitation, Lily agreed to help. Orion instructed her to hold the orange peel like a boat, and together they plunged beneath the surface. To her amazement, Lily could breathe underwater! The orange peel boat grew larger, carrying them through coral forests and schools of silver fish.
They reached a magnificent crystal pyramid rising from the ocean floor, its peak touching the surface. Inside, Lily placed the crystal bull on a pedestal. Light burst forth like a thousand rainbows, and the water around them shimmered with renewed life.
"Thank you," Orion said, his voice full of gratitude. "You've saved an entire world. Remember, true magic lives in kindness and courage."
Lily surfaced, finding herself back on the beach with an ordinary orange in her hand. But sometimes, when she visited the shore, she could see a golden glow beneath the waves—a reminder that magic exists for those who believe.
