The Cloud-Swimming Cat's Magic Jar

Leo was afraid of everything. Heights, spiders, the dark - especially thunderstorms. So when he met a cat swimming through the clouds above his house, he couldn't believe his eyes.

"I'm Nimbus," the cat said, her fur swirling like a sunset. "Care to join me?"

"But... I'm afraid of heights," Leo whispered.

Nimbus smiled - yes, cats can smile in magical stories. "That's why you should come. Swimming through clouds is the best way to find courage."

Before Leo could say no, Nimbus scooped him up. They were floating above the rooftops, higher and higher, until Leo's house looked like a toy.

"I'm swimming!" Leo laughed, realizing he wasn't scared at all. The clouds felt like cotton candy against his skin.

Nimbus led him to a castle made entirely of glass jars. Inside each jar swam a tiny bolt of lightning, glowing and dancing.

"What are these?" Leo asked.

"Lightning vitamins," Nimbus explained. "I collect them during storms. One zap gives you exactly the courage you need."

Just then, a real storm approached. Thunder rumbled. Leo trembled.

Nimbus opened a jar. A tiny lightning bolt floated out and touched Leo's nose - ZAP! It didn't hurt. Instead, warmth spread through his whole body, filling him with bravery.

"See?" Nimbus purred. "True courage isn't about not being afraid. It's about being scared and doing brave things anyway."

Leo looked at the storm. The lightning wasn't scary anymore - it was beautiful, like nature's fireworks.

"Thank you, my friend," Leo said, hugging Nimbus.

When Leo woke up in his bed, a storm was raging outside. But for the first time, he just smiled, remembering his cloud-swimming adventure and the lightning vitamin that lived inside his heart.

And sometimes, when he looked up at storm clouds, he swore he saw Nimbus swimming through them, winking like a tiny star in the sky.
