The Cloud-Cable Adventure

Lily loved looking out her window at the fluffy white clouds floating by like cotton candy in the sky. One morning, something extraordinary happened. A shimmering golden cable dropped from the clouds right to her balcony!

Curious and brave, Lily grabbed the smooth cable. It felt warm, like it was glowing with sunshine. She pulled gently, and it held tight! With a deep breath, she climbed up, up, up into the sky.

At the top, she met Cumulus, a sad little cloud creature with rainbow-colored hair that drooped like wet spaghetti.

"What's wrong?" Lily asked kindly.

"I lost my sunshine vitamins!" Cumulus sniffled. "They make my hair shiny and my cloud-fluffy. Without them, I can't make rain for the flowers down below."

Lily looked around and spotted the glowing vitamins caught in a nearby tree branch. But the tree was made of mist—too slippery to climb!

"I have an idea!" Lily said. Using her long, strong hair ribbon, she fashioned a lasso. With Cumulus's help, she swung across and caught the precious vitamins.

Cumulus gobbled them up happily. Within moments, his rainbow hair puffed up bouncy and bright, and his cloud body became fluffy again.

"Thank you, Lily!" Cumulus cheered. He made it rain gentle sparkles that watered all the gardens below. Flowers bloomed instantly in rainbow colors.

"Friends help friends," Lily smiled, sliding back down the magic cable to her room.

From then on, whenever Lily saw rainbows after rain, she knew Cumulus was saying thank you. And she always kept her hair ribbons handy—because you never know when a friend might need your help!
