The Cloud Bull's Secret

Pip was the smallest dog on Sunshine Farm, with golden fur that glowed like morning honey. Luna was the sleekest cat, with silver eyes that twinkled like stars. They were best friends who loved exploring together.

Every afternoon, they'd sneak past the big red barn to visit Barnaby, the enormous black bull who slept in the meadow. All the other animals were afraid of him.

"He's too grumpy," said the horses.

"He's too big," said the chickens.

But Pip and Luna knew something special about Barnaby. One magical morning, they discovered his secret.

The sun was just rising when Luna spotted something amazing. "Pip! Look up!"

High above Barnaby's head, the clouds were swirling into shapes—first a butterfly, then a castle, then a galloping horse. The bull was fast asleep, but his dreams were painting the sky!

"He's a Cloud Bull!" whispered Pip. "The last one in all the world!"

Barnaby opened one eye. "I used to make beautiful clouds," he said sadly. "But I forgot how. Nobody ever visits me, so I stopped trying."

Luna curled up beside his giant hoof. "We'll visit you every day."

Pip did a happy spin. "And we'll help you remember!"

And so they did. Every morning, the three friends gathered in the meadow. Pip would bark out ideas—cloud dolphins, cloud cupcakes, cloud castles. Luna would describe the colors—pink lemonade sunsets, purple twilight mountains. Barnaby would concentrate, and slowly, the clouds would dance into shape.

One afternoon, something terrible happened. A grey fog rolled across the sky, turning all the clouds into grumpy lumps. The Fog King had come!

"I'll make the sky boring forever!" thundered the Fog King.

Barnaby trembled. "I'm not strong enough."

"You're not alone," said Pip, pressing against his leg.

"We believe in you," said Luna, licking his nose.

Barnaby closed his eyes and remembered—all the mornings with his friends, all the joy they shared. His heart swelled with something stronger than fear. Friendship.

The bull let out a mighty puff, and a rainbow exploded from his nostrils! It shot through the fog, turning every grey cloud into glittering gold, ruby red, and emerald green.

The Fog King fled, terrified of so much color and happiness.

From that day on, Barnaby painted the most beautiful skies anyone had ever seen. And the other animals finally understood—the grumpy bull wasn't scary at all. He just needed friends to help his magic shine.

Every evening at sunset, you can still see them there: one tiny dog, one sleek cat, and one magnificent bull, making the sky wonderful together.
