The Cloud Bull's Brave Heart
Lily loved stormy days. While other children hid inside, she pressed her nose against the cold window glass, watching the sky paint itself in shades of purple and gray. But today, something magical happened.
A massive cloud shaped exactly like a **bull** floated down from the sky. Its fluffy white body shimmered like cotton candy, and its eyes were gentle as summer rain. "I'm Thunder," the cloud bull rumbled softly. "I make the booming sounds that shake the world."
Lily ran outside to meet him. "I'm Lily! Why are you crying?"
"I'm scared of **lightning,**" Thunder admitted. "She's my best **friend**, but she's so bright and flash-y! Sometimes I hide behind other clouds because she startles me."
Just then, a beautiful streak of golden lightning danced across the sky. She looked like a ribbon of sunshine, glowing and graceful. But Thunder shivered and tried to hide behind Lily's small house.
"That's Lightning Sparkle," Thunder whispered. "She visits during every storm. We used to play together — she would make beautiful patterns, and I would add the music. But now I'm too afraid."
Lily had an idea. She took Thunder's fluffy cloud hoof and held it tight. "What if I help you be brave together again? True friends help each other face their fears!"
When Lightning Sparkle returned, Lily stood between them. "Thunder," she called, "make your biggest, bravest boom!" And when he did, Lightning Sparkle created the most beautiful sparkles anyone had ever seen.
"I was never trying to scare you," Lightning Sparkle said softly. "I was trying to make our storm beautiful!"
Thunder's eyes widened. "You're not scary at all. You're magnificent!"
From that day on, whenever thunder rumbled and lightning flashed, Lily knew her friends were putting on the most wonderful show in the sky. And she learned that even the bravest, strongest friends sometimes need a little help — and that's what makes friendship truly magical.
